BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) uniforms, commonly called gis, are specially designed outfits made from durable fabric to withstand grappling and training. A standard BJJ gi consists of a jacket, pants, and a belt that represents the practitioner’s rank. No-gi training is performed using rash guards and shorts instead of the traditional gi.
